Capacity building for Outcome Measurement (OM) of WASH Alliance Bangladesh is considered an important element of the overall strategy for assessing programme results. Considering the fact three day long training was arranged on 22-23 November, 2016 at Garden Inn Hotel, Dhaka on Outcome Measurement (OM)-2016. In-country PME Adviser of WASH Alliance Bangladesh, Mr. Mujibor Rahaman facilitated the training. Around 15 participants from six partner organisations participated in the OM training. Major objective of the training was to make partner staff orient on the OM-2016 approaches and tools so they can efficiently conduct field study through Akvo Flow. The OM training made partner staff capable on outcome measurement process ensuring that field survey are conducted in line with WASH Alliance International approaches and requirements. The training followed lecture method as well as group discussions on process, indicators, tools, sampling framework, qualitative and quantitative methods for programme outcome monitoring. Each partner organisation produced outcome measurement survey plan ((dates of field study, HH and FGD/KII survey including submission of the reports) at the end of OM training.
