Ghana WASH Alliance (Ghana WASH Alliance)

WASH Alliance Ghana acts as a coordinating unit for an Alliance of nine (9) local NGOs including a University (UDS). The members of this Alliance are in partnership with the Dutch WASH Alliance implementing through bilateral agreements with their Dutch partners, activities that seek to address WASH related challenges in four (4) Districts within rural and peri-urban northern Ghana especially for women, young girls and Basic schools.
Mainly, the Alliance members work at different levels to provide or improve existing WASH facilities in households and schools, action research on the treatment of waste and its social acceptance for safe re-use, community empowerment for WASH and the promotion of Private-Public-Partnership in WASH service delivery.

In order to keep our work visible by telling our story, this project was organized for field staff of partner organizations to build their capacity in writing reports, taking pictures and making simple updates on the Akvo platform. So, a 2-day workshop has been organized in Tamale to support the ten (10) Alliance partners upload reports and updates for the public.
